Strictly Sail-Miami is the sail-only portion of the Miami International Boat Show. This unique in-water and dockside show will feature sailboats, accessories, gear and charter information from more than 200 exhibitors. When cruising the show stop by the Author's and Expert's Corner. You will be able to speak with industry experts and ask them all of your sailing questions. Check out the extensive seminar program going on continuously through out the show. Seminars are broken down into levels geared for all types of sailors. Multihull Magazine Catamaran Display
Multihull Magazine takes claim to fame by pulling together the most complete selection of multihulls, in one place, in the world. Stop by the Multihull Lagoon and see for yourself. Catamarans from 16 to 60 feet from all over the world meet in Miami for Strictly Sail.
SAIL Magazine's Freeman Pittman Award Display
Finalists and winners of SAIL Magazine's 6th Annual Pittman Innovation Awards competition will be on display for the first time in one exhibit space at the Strictly Sail Miami show. Since SAIL created these awards in 1997, sailors have been able to learn about new and innovative products introduced into the sailing marketplace each year by reading SAIL, but have not been able to see the actual products all together in one place.
The Freeman K. Pittman Awards for Innovation were created in 1997 by SAIL to recognize and reward sailing equipment manufacturers for creating new and innovative products and to promote the value of innovation as a driving force in the sailing industry.
Volvo Ocean Race Display
Thanks to Volvo you will have the opportunity to check out the VO 60 ASSA ABLOY which will be on display for all six days of the show. While you are there make sure you take your young sailors over to the Race Village, an area specially designed for kids. They can take part in many sailing activities including knot tying and learning basic sailing techniques.
